Finding medicine from the immediate surrounding is a growing thought amidst of pandemic. The present work is based on data collection performed by service-learning students in the abandoned farmlands to generate data on various aspects of biodiversity of flora and ecological degradation. The biodiversity study revealed the present status of vegetation and species richness in the area. With the help of botanists in the field plants were identified and the students worked to generate data on the availability and uses by gathering information from the local people and through literature scrutiny. As much as 92 flowering plants were recorded from the twelve visits. Out of the 80 herbs, 10 species had an observation range over 10 times in the field and studies for availability in the field reveals 44.56% throughout the year, 52.17% available except summer. Only 40.22% of the species are used by local public as herbal medicine, 9.2% used for edible purpose. About 44.57% of plants are neglected by the locals as they are not aware of its use. The study helped to reveal the uses of the commonly neglected plants in their vicinity, which are potential medicine locally. Understanding the traditional uses can rejuvenate the farmlands in the coming future.

Introduction and objectives: Fertility is among the major components of population, the reduction of which can cause irreparable socioeconomic damage to the country. Unfortunately, the fertility rate is declining and lower than the critical level in Iran. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the factors influencing fertility desire in order to reveal more aspects of this issue.\nMethodology: This descriptive-analytical study included all the rural and urban families referring to healthcare centers in Ferdows, Iran, 2020. The participants were selected using multi-stage sampling method. Finally, 400 married men and women referring to the centers were assessed by the fertility desire scale (FDS). The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics as well as Mann-Whitney and Spearman tests by SPSS 19.0.\nResults: In this study, 81.2% of the participants were female, 52.5% of whom aged 25-35 years old. The mean scores of fertility desire among urban and rural households were 66.69±9.61 and 65.06±9.08, respectively. In all dimensions of the questionnaire except for childbearing concerns, significant differences were observed between urban and rural households (p<0.05). The viewpoint that life without children is meaningless as well as having the social belief in parental support to have children were the most important positive childbearing motivations.\nConclusion: The results, which partially manifested the current situation regarding the desire and lack of desire to have children in urban and rural communities, can be used in population policies in order to build culture and support parents and, thus, increase childbearing desire, especially in rural areas.

Introduction:The aim of this study was to compare self-esteem and job motivation in the population of nurses and operating room technologists of teaching hospitals in Birjand.\nMethodology:This study was performed on 146 nurses and surgical technologists. Data collection tools were standard self-esteem and job motivation questionnaires.Data were analyzed by SPSS v.22.\nResults:The results showed that self-esteem in operating room technologists is significantly higher than nurses While job motivation in the two groups was not significantly different.\nConclusion:Action to improve nurses and operating room technologists self-esteem and job motivation, especially in nurses by Managers of the health system seem necessary

At the moment, the influenza virus is one of the main causes of diseases of people from different age and social groups. Each year influenza virus kills a significant number of populations and causes a considerable economic damage. The virulent and pathogenic properties of the influenza virus are largely due to the presence of hemagglutinin, nucleoprotein, and neuraminidase proteins in it, which ensure the infection and reproduction of this pathogen in the cell. The sequencing and analysis of pathogens is an important component of epidemiological monitoring, which includes the early isolation and detection of seasonal (circulating) influenza viruses, as well as the identification of new influenza virus subtypes that may cause an epidemiological outbreak. To prevent epidemiological complications and develop effective diagnostics, information is needed on the structure of the obtained influenza virus samples. The aim of this work was to detect the polymorphism of hemagglutinin, neuraminidase, and nucleoprotein of the H1N1 and H7N9 strains of the avian influenza A virus, to research their strain-specificity and to reveal its effect on the structure of the domains of these proteins by bioinformatic methods. Materials and methods. The amino acid sequences of hemagglutinin, neuraminidase and nucleoprotein of influenza A strains H1N1 and H7N9 were analysed, and protein domains were determined. Results and discussion. According to the results of the accomplished research, polymorphism of the studied proteins of the influenza A H1N1 and H7N9 strains was revealed. The type and localization of mutations at amino acid sites was shown. The domains of the products of the studied sequences were determined. The effect of mutations in the amino acid sequences of the studied proteins on the formation of domains was shown. The specificity of the amino acid sequences of the studied proteins for strains A H1N1 and H7N9 was shown. Conclusions. Conservative and variable regions of the amino acid sequences of hemagglutinin, neuraminidase, and nucleoprotein were revealed. The absence of sequences of the studied proteins identical in amino acid composition was shown in the H1N1 and H7N9 strains. The possibility of identifying strains of influenza A H1N1 and H7N9 viruses by the polymorphism of these proteins was determined. The absence of influence of polymorphism of amino acid sequences of hemagglutinin, neuraminidase and nucleoprotein of influenza A strains H1N1 and H7N9 on the domain composition of these proteins was shown.

In this paper, we propose a variable-neighborhood-search (in short VNS) algorithm based on multi-attribute-decision-making-strategy (in short MADM-strategy) under possibility environment. Further, we give a numerical example to show the applicability and rationality of the proposed MADM-strategy.

Family structure, dynamics and functionality have a major impact on children’s school achievement (SA), bothamong those with a typical development (CTD) and with developmental disabilities (CDD). Inclusive education in the Serbian school system started in 2012. years, and the importance of family factors is ever increasing. This research was aimed to investigate the relationship between family factors and SA of CTD and CDD, in primary school.The research was designed as two cross-sectional studies on Belgrade schoolchildren. The first study was carried out in 2012, and another one in 2017. There were 1127 investigated CTD, and 71 CDD. included in the study. The children\'s parents completed a questionnaire specially designed for this study.type questions. The SPSS 17 statistical software andPearson Chi square test, Student\'s test and ANOVA analysis were used to process data. The SA of CTD was was positively influenced by a higher parental education and living with both parents (p < 0.01) as well as their higher socioeconomic status (p < 0.05), while the SA of CDD was positively affected only by a higher parental educational status (p <.05). The parents of CDD were more likely to be married than the parents of CTD (p = 0.05). The SA of CTD was better than the SA of CWD (p = 0.004). Among CTD, girls had better SA than boys (p =0.01). Family factors that positively affect SA of CTD and CWD are: a parental higher educational level, living with both parents and a higher socioeconomic status.

A simple dip-coating technique was used to prepare tin oxide (SnO2) thin films at various bath temperatures (313, 333, 353 and 373 K) and annealed at 673 K. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) investigation demonstrated that the prepared samples possess agglomerated spherical shaped particles. The elemental analysis (EDAX) confirms the presence of Sn and O. Further, the SnO2 thin film microstructures are simulated, and their thermodynamic and surface properties have been calculated. The envelope method is used to study the optical characteristics of the thin films from the transmittance spectra. The semiconducting nature of the films has been noticed from I-V characteristics. Furthermore, the electrical conductivity studies suggest that the highest conductivity samples acquire the lowest activation energy and their values are in the semiconducting range. In addition, the obtained results were analyzed and correlated with the computational method.

This `research-survey\' is meant for beginners in the studies of integrable systems. Here we outline some analytical methods for dealing with a class of nonlinear partial differential equations. We pay special attention to `inverse spectral transform\', `Lax pair representation\', and `zero-curvature\ncondition\' as applied to these equations. We provide a number of interesting exmples to gain some\nphysico-mathematical feeling for the methods presented.

Objectives: To identify the prevalence of cardiorespiratory complications in hospitalized patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and to determine the associated risk factors.\nMethods: This is an observational and cross-sectional study. The population was constituted between January 1 to December 31, 2018 in 32 hospital in Portugal, using summary data of discharge from hospital. We use both Diagnosis Related Groups and Disease Staging.\nResults: A total of 7.347 patients were included in this study. About 18.2% had cardiorespiratory complications. The congestive heart failure comorbidity (98.0%) was significantly higher (p<0.0001) among patients who underwent medical treatment, as well as the comorbidities bacterial pneumonia and coronary artery disease without prior coronary revascularization were significantly higher (63.9%, 45.1% and 33.4%, p<0.0001).\nConclusions: Our results suggest that cardiorespiratory complications event was higher in women than in men and in those receiving medical treatment. Comorbidities such congestive heart failure, as bacterial pneumonia and coronary artery disease without prior coronary revascularization were identified as risk factors.

The study area is restricted in the extreme northern boundary of the Central Eastern Desert of Egypt among the Nile River and the Red Sea. Um Taghir comprises island arc and back-arc related rocks and late to post tectonic magmatism. They are considered as youngest rock units in the studied area that are intruded in the oldest rocks. Late to post tectonic magmatism comprises granodiorite, tonalite, monzogranite, alkali feldspar granites, and various dikes. Petrographically: Granodiorite and Tonalite exhibit quite different mineral constituents Occasionally, tonalite has more mafic minerals than granodiorite. Ordinarily, monzogranite and alkali feldspar granites show quite different of their mineral compositions; mostly, alkali feldspar minerals are relatively more abundant in the alkali feldspar granite. On the other hand, the different types of dikes are divided into rhyolite, basalt, and andesite dikes. In addition, they have differences in their mineralogical compositions. Geochemically, the studied rock units and most dikes have a sub alkaline nature, except the basaltic dike has an alkaline nature. Tectonically, generally, tonalite and granodiorite show volcanic arc granites, while monzogranite and alkali feldspar granites have within plate granites signature. The rhyolite dike is falling in continental arc granites, as well as the andesite and basalt dikes are related to volcanic arc basalt.

Analysis of differential item functioning (DIF) and its sources is essential, as these factors may affect the performance of different test groups and jeopardize the ability of test users and researchers to use test scores to infer validity about test subjects. The purpose of this study is to extend the DIF analysis of gender comparisons to other groups including age and province of residence, as well as to examine the sources of DIF using community heterogeneity elimination methods. Factor mixture models were used to examine the sources of DIF. The results showed that the age groups and the province of residence of the subjects and the content of the items in the test are sources of DIF, and the gender, presence of figures, diagrams, and tables in the item were not sources of DIF. Stating that subjects in a group (e.g. women) respond different to a DIF item results in a stereotypical view of the item that benefits all members of a group, while the actual heterogeneity in each group is ignored. Lack of attention to DIF and its sources leads to incorrect inference when comparing test scores across groups. Validity of group comparisons must be checked before comparing scores.

Measurements of the solar wind parameters including the wind speed and temperature display a marked uniform behavior in the high latitude solar regions as compared with the much slower variability in the wind speed at low latitudes. Here the solar wind acceleration due to the magneto-gravitaional field around the Sun is shown to lead to speed and temperature distributions over heliolatitude, exhibiting the observed distinction between the solar parameters in low and high latitudes, with an almost constant wind speed for the later solar regions. The calculated proton speed and the solar wind temperature variation profiles over the solar surface have constant high latitude values consistent with the full polar orbit data.

The best performance criterion in triathlon is the triathlete\'s mark in the sporting event, however, it is not convenient to submit the juvenile athlete to the competitive distance every time a control is performed due to the demands of the test. The objective of this research is to determine the chronometric performance of the juvenile triathlete in the Sprint distance through a computational model. Data from two mini-triathlons were obtained to develop the model, the first one at a distance of 200m/ 6km/ 5km to measure aerobic capacity and the second one of 35m/ 2km/ 500m to measure aerobic power. Both tests measured pedaling frequency in the cycling segment. The model was validated by 10-fold cross-validation. The best performing method was support vector machines (SVM) with a 190-second mean absolute error. An application for smartphones was created to enable the practical use of the model, which shows the estimated time and which variables should be addressed during training. The results obtained in the estimated chronometric performance with respect to the real one proved the efficacy of the proposal to estimate chronometric performance in juvenile triathletes.
